I am a highly qualified and professionally trained psychotherapeutic counsellor. As a member of the BACP, UKCP and NCPS my education and practice meet the highest ethical standards that a client should expect from a practitioner.
I work in an integrative way, having been trained in CBT, person-centred and psychodynamic counselling models. I work with the individual, depending on their unique needs providing a confidential, non-judgmental, safe and compassionate space to all of my clients.
I currently work with adults. I see people online and in person in central Southampton and Winchester, offering weekly sessions that last 50 minutes. I provide an open-ended amount of sessions depending on the client’s requirements.

My fees are £60 - £75 dependent on location.

I offer a free, no obligation, 20 minute consultation over Zoom where we can speak and decide if we would like to work together.

Why Counselling?
We all have moments where life can feel stressful and overwhelming, whether this is because of specific issues in the past or the present, or just a general feeling of unhappiness.
In these moments it can feel hard to find space for ourselves, to break out of unhelpful habits and beliefs that we’d rather change, to put boundaries in place to protect ourselves, or to simply just feel better.
I know that being able to talk in a non-judgmental, safe and confidential setting can help. I have seen first-hand the potential we all have to change and how counselling can help in gaining the understanding, awareness and acceptance through which this change becomes possible.

Having been trained to work in an integrative way I have a grounding across CBT, Psychodynamic and Humanistic theoretical approaches, enabling me to work in the most suitable way for each individual.
About Me
After many years of working as a Producer in film and television I realised that my passion lay in understanding people and how we respond to life’s challenges. So, I made a change and retrained in counselling and psychotherapy, tapping into my natural curiosity about human psychology, why we become who we are and how we can change.
I am deeply interested in the power of storytelling, what makes us human, what challenges us and ultimately, how we are free to re-write the script of our own story if we choose to do so.
I offer a holistic Integrative approach in my practice, using elements from the three main schools of counselling: CBT, Humanistic and Psychodynamic modalities. But fundamentally I am always led by the client and what feels best for them as we find our way together.
